Music & Dance Academy AI Calls: ₹2/min

An AI agent that answers a music school or dance academy's enquiry calls costs from ₹2 per minute of talk time on Dvaarik, billed in whole minutes from prepaid credits, with no voice subscription and no minimum volume — plus ₹1,500 per 30 days if we supply the phone number. Today Dvaarik is self-serve with no setup fee and no required plan — usage is prepaid credits, voice from ₹2/min with whole-minute billing. This page works the term-intake arithmetic month by month for a two-branch academy, compares twelve named vendors on what it actually takes to qualify for the rate each one advertises, and says plainly where our own model gets expensive.

What do AI calling vendors in India actually charge a music or dance academy?

None of these vendors publishes a rate specific to music schools or dance academies. What follows is what each one publishes to everybody. Every rate was read on the vendor's own page on 21 Jul 2026 and is recorded in our internal price ledger with the sentence it came from. The middle column is the one that matters, because a per-minute number on its own tells you almost nothing.

VendorPublished rateWhat it takes to get that rateChecked
Dvaarikfrom ₹2/minNothing. It applies from the first minute — no voice plan, no minimum volume, no lock-in. Add ₹1,500 per 30 days only if we supply the number. Our own published figures26 Jul 2026
Scalify Labs₹0.40/minTheir own page attaches this note to the table it appears in: "Rates are estimates based on publicly available information and direct conversations. Always get a formal quote — rates change with volume." Their service page prices plans from ₹15,000/month with voice minutes billed separately on top, states a minimum engagement of 10,000 minutes/month with a 3-month initial commitment, and lists ₹15,000–₹40,000 one-time setup. Hindi and English are standard21 Jul 2026
Agni by Ravan.aiupto ₹2/minPublished on the quote-only Enterprise tier, qualified on their own homepage as an "Enterprise volume rate at 10,000+ minutes". The buyable entry is ₹2,999/month including 300 minutes with ₹8/min overage; Starter is Hindi and English only, all 30+ languages from Growth. Prices exclude 18% GST21 Jul 2026
HuskyVoice.AI₹4/minPublished strictly as an enterprise volume floor — "as low as ₹4/min" — not an entry rate. Their entry plan is ₹1,999/month for 100 voice credits at 2 credits per minute. Their own guide says pricing depends on call volume, workflows, integrations and setup21 Jul 2026
Trikon₹5/minFlat, no voice plan, no setup fee. Telephony and DID numbers are billed separately by your own carrier, so this is not your landed cost21 Jul 2026
Botsense₹9/min Starter · ₹7/min Growth · ₹5/min EnterprisePublished openly with "No monthly commitment" on the AI-calling page. Starter is Hindi and English only; Enterprise routes to a custom quote, and every CTA routes to WhatsApp or sales rather than a self-serve checkout. No GST treatment is stated21 Jul 2026
Bolna AI6.00¢/min, displayed on their own page as ₹5.52/minThe standard rate. It falls to 4.51¢/min only at a one-time $3,000 load. Their docs state total call cost is speech-to-text, LLM, text-to-speech, telephony and a flat Bolna platform fee whose amount is not published21 Jul 2026
VaniAgent₹4.5–5.5/minSits on the ₹4,999/month Metered Credits plan. The flat unlimited tier is ₹21,999/month with a 3-month minimum commitment. Prices exclude 18% GST. They publish 27 Indian languages, more than our 22 plus English21 Jul 2026
Dhiyo AI Labs₹5/minPublished as a "starts at" floor inside a blog post. Their FAQ says final pricing depends on call volume, setup and workflow requirements, and every tier on their pricing page reads "Custom"21 Jul 2026
Edesy₹6/min pay-as-you-go, plus telephony at $0.07/minMinimum recharge ₹500. ₹5/min requires the ₹1,499/month Pro plan, ₹4/min the ₹14,999/month Ultra plan. Their own comparison tool separately states ₹1.50/min, which contradicts their pricing page — we report both rather than pick the flattering one21 Jul 2026
MyOperatorNo per-minute rate publishedThe standalone AI voice agent is ₹10,000/month including 2,000 minutes, with extra usage billed at ₹8 per conversation rather than per minute, plus ₹20,000 one-time dedicated onboarding21 Jul 2026
SquadStackNot publishedThe only vendor here that publishes no price of any kind. Their pages say "The per-minute rate depends on language mix, call complexity, integration depth, and the engagement scale" and "pricing is shared after the discovery call". A one-time setup fee applies per use case, amount not stated; the Pilot tier carries a 90-day commitment21 Jul 2026

How to read that table

Five of the eleven vendors listed alongside us require a monthly plan before a single call is placed — Scalify Labs, Agni, HuskyVoice, VaniAgent and MyOperator. A sixth, Dhiyo AI Labs, publishes nothing either way about whether a plan is required. Three publish their lowest number on a tier that routes to a sales conversation rather than a checkout: Agni's Enterprise, HuskyVoice's enterprise-volume floor and Botsense's Enterprise. One publishes no price at all.

That is the actual shape of this market, and it is why our claim is about terms rather than about being lowest: ₹2/min from the very first minute, no voice plan, no minimum volume, no lock-in. We are not going to tell you nobody can be cheaper than us. On a negotiated enterprise contract at tens of thousands of minutes a month, several vendors above plainly can be — and that is not the volume a one- or two-branch academy is buying.

One caution that applies to your own research as much as to ours. Several of these vendors publish comparison tables containing other vendors' rates. We checked one of those against the vendor's own published rate and the two did not agree — a rival's page quoted Bolna well above the ₹5.52/min that Bolna's own page displays. Do not take a price for vendor X from vendor Y's comparison page, including from ours: every number above is tied in our ledger to the vendor's own URL and the sentence it was read in, and you should ask any vendor quoting you a competitor's price to do the same.

A second, quieter thing to check: whether the vendor prices in rupees at all. Two of the best-known platforms in this market are not in the table above because they publish no rupee price to compare. Retell AI publishes $0.07–$0.31/min for its platform stack, in USD, with telephony billed separately and no India pricing page. Vapi publishes $0.05/min for hosting, under a table heading that itself reads "Excludes Model Provider Costs". Neither is wrong; neither is priced or built for a Kathak class in Warangal. Whoever you buy from, the question to ask first is whether they can quote you a rupee figure without a discovery call.

The enquiry calls an academy actually gets, and what the agent does with each

Described mechanically, with no performance claims attached. Every name below is invented.

1. The batch-timings call, again and again

"Do you have a beginners' keyboard batch on weekends? What time? How old does she have to be? How much per month?" Answering it costs whoever picks up the middle of a class, and the call earns nothing by itself until the parent actually enrols. The agent holds every batch — instrument or style, level, age band, day, time, teacher, seats left, fee — and answers from that, in the caller's language, at any hour. Two billed minutes, ₹4.

2. The 10pm parent

An enquiry that lands at 10:40pm and gets a reply at 11am the next morning has been sitting overnight, competing against every other academy the parent messaged in between. The agent answers the call or the DM there and then, and books the trial. See outbound calls and speed to lead.

3. Trial-class booking, and the no-show

A free trial slot is a real cost — a teacher blocks the hour either way. The agent books the seat against the batch's actual capacity, sends the WhatsApp confirmation from your own number, reminds the parent the evening before, and calls the ones who did not turn up the next morning to move them into the following week's batch. Slot-locking matters because a trial batch has a fixed seat count. See booking.

4. Fees, instalments and the renewal that quietly lapses

A three-month Bharatanatyam term or a six-month guitar course ends on a date nobody is watching. The agent calls the parents whose term is ending or whose instalment is due, states the amount and date from your own records, and sends a payment link mid-conversation. It can take an enrolment deposit while the parent is still on the call. No commission is taken on what you collect. See payments.

5. Instagram comments and DMs

You post the annual-day reel, a parent comments asking which class that was, and the agent replies publicly and then sends the batch options, fees and a trial slot by DM. Chat is ₹2 per conversation, not per message, over a 24-hour window. Today Dvaarik is self-serve with no setup fee and no required plan — usage is prepaid credits, voice from ₹2/min with whole-minute billing.

6. The parent asks in Telugu, the form was filled in English

When the enquiry form is filled in English by an older child, and the call is then answered by a parent or grandparent who wants to talk about fees and timings in their own language, the agent has to handle both ends. It works in all 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English and code-mixed Hinglish, and switches mid-sentence rather than asking anyone to press 1. See multilingual.

7. Reactivating last term's enquiry register

If you have a book of enquiries from last year that never enrolled — not a bought list, your own register — you load it, the agent calls inside the hours you set, identifies the academy, states why it is calling, and logs each outcome as booked, call back later, not interested or no answer. A parent who says stop is marked and not called again by that campaign.

The rule that governs all outbound work: we call only your own enquiries and your own students' families. No purchased school databases, no scraped numbers, no lists bought from another academy. If dialling a bought database is the campaign you want, we are the wrong vendor and we will say so on the first call.

8. Term notices once the student has enrolled

Batch-timing changes, teacher-absence notices, recital rehearsal calls, festival holidays and fee-due notices go out on WhatsApp from your own number, with a voice call as the fallback for families who do not use WhatsApp. Meta bills those message fees directly to your own account and we add nothing — see WhatsApp Business API costs in India.

What the agent is never allowed to say to a parent or a student

In an academy the conversation on the phone is often about a child, and sometimes about talent. That makes the boundary tighter than in most industries, and we would rather write it down than leave it to a prompt.

The agent does thisThe agent never does this
States your published fees, term structure and due datesNegotiates fees, invents a discount, or waives an enrolment charge

Hands over to you when a parent asks for a personArgues with a caller who wants a human

The comparison above states the published row-by-row differences; read each row with its source, date, and qualifying notes.

Outbound conduct, non-negotiable

  • Only your own enquiries and your own students' families. Never a purchased or scraped list.
  • The agent identifies your academy by name at the start of every outbound call.
  • Calling hours are set by you and respected. No fee-reminder calls at 7am on a Sunday unless you configure it.
  • Anyone who asks not to be called again is marked and dropped from that campaign.
  • Call recording is optional at +₹0.10/min. If you do not enable it, calls are not recorded.

On student data: the enquiry register is yours. We do not sell it, share it or reuse it for anyone else. We are not going to recite sections of the DPDP Act at you on this page, because we did not read the official text while writing it — take your own legal advice on consent and retention before running a reactivation campaign over a list of children's parents, and ask any vendor who does recite the Act at you whether their architecture actually implements what they are quoting. More on the legal shape of outbound calling in is AI calling legal in India.

Setup: what you give us, and what happens in the first week

We build the agent for you. This is a studio model, not software you configure yourself — there is no dashboard to learn, no plan to pick and no trial to start.

What you provide

  1. Your batch grid — every style or instrument, level, age band, day, time, teacher, seat count and fee, and which of those the agent may quote versus which must come to you.
  2. Your term calendar — session start dates, trial-class days, grade-exam or assessment dates, annual-day and recital dates, holidays.
  3. Your fee rules — enrolment fee, monthly or term fee, instalment dates, sibling arrangements if you have them, and your refund and pause policy in the exact words you want repeated.
  4. Teacher availability — who takes a transferred call, in which hours, per branch, and the fallback when nobody picks up.
  5. Your booking destination — a calendar or sheet we can write trial-class seats into.
  6. Your own enquiry register, if you want outbound running from week one, and the calling hours it must respect.
  7. Sign-off on the refusal wording for talent judgements, result guarantees and fee negotiation.

Live in days, not months, for a single-branch academy. Every agent is built personally by Rohith Sriramula, working from Paloncha in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana. There is no team, no office and no support desk.

The cheapest week to go live is the one before your new-term push, not the one after. Before you commit anything, hear one — the live demo is the only proof we have, and we would rather you judge it than take our word for it. Try it from the pilot page, or read how it works.

Numbers we refused to publish

There are figures that would have made this page more persuasive and that we could not stand behind. It is worth naming them so you can push back when a vendor quotes them at you.

  • No-show reduction percentages. These circulate in AI marketing for every appointment-based business. We have no measured figure for Indian music or dance academies, and we are not borrowing one from another industry. A trial-class no-show costs you a teacher's blocked hour either way — which is exactly what makes a borrowed percentage tempting, and exactly why there is not one on this page.
  • Enquiry-to-enrolment conversion uplifts. We do not have these for Indian music or dance academies and will not invent one. Measure it over one term in your own academy — that is the only figure worth having.
  • A peak-to-quiet seasonality multiple. Enquiries plainly cluster around new terms and fall away after. What we could not source is a measured figure for how big that swing is, so the ratio in our worked example is labelled as our own assumption rather than dressed up as a fact.
  • How many enquiry calls a typical academy misses. Frequently quoted, never sourced. Your own call log answers it in ten minutes and no vendor's average can.
  • Competitor rates taken from a rival's comparison table. Checked against the vendor's own published rate, at least one such figure was materially wrong. Every competitor number on this page came from the vendor's own page on 21 Jul 2026.

If a vendor quotes you an enrolment uplift for academies, ask which academies, over which term, measured against what baseline, and who counted. If the answer is a case study with no academy named, treat it as marketing.

When a music school or dance academy should pick someone else

The subject described in this section: This is the section most vendor pages do not write. Ours is specific.

Do nothing yet if you have one batch and forty students. At that size you answer your own phone between classes, and ₹3,700 a month is real money against your fee income. Put a WhatsApp Business auto-reply on the number, write your batch grid into your Instagram bio link, and revisit this when the phone starts ringing during class hours often enough to annoy you. We would rather say that than sell you an agent you do not need yet.

Hire a part-time person instead if your enquiries are mostly walk-ins. If parents mainly turn up at the studio door on a Saturday morning, a phone agent solves a problem you do not have. Someone at the desk for four hours on weekends will do more for you.

Pick someone else if you need a predictable flat bill. If you would rather pay one identical number every month than see a variable invoice, a flat monthly plan genuinely suits you better than usage pricing. Several vendors in the table above sell exactly that, and it is a legitimate preference rather than a mistake.

Pick someone else if you are a national franchise. At ninety centres you should be negotiating with a company that has a support rota, a status page and an account manager. We are one person building agents personally. Our terms are honest at your volume; our operational depth is not.

Pick someone else if you need a deep two-way integration with an existing academy-management system on day one. We do custom integration work — see enterprise — but if that system must be the source of truth from hour one, scope it with someone whose product is that integration.

Pick someone else if you want cold calling. If the plan is to buy a list of local school parents and dial it, we are not your vendor at any price.

What we are good at: a one- or two-branch academy that is losing enquiries because the phone rings in the middle of a class, that spikes hard around new terms and goes quiet in between, and that wants the bill to follow the calendar rather than lead it.

If that is you, tell us the problem on WhatsApp at +91 79956 76588 and we will give you a plan and a price in a day. Related reading: the capability tour for dance, music and yoga studios, AI calling for coaching institutes, and AI calling agent price in India 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an AI receptionist cost for a dance academy or music school in India?

From ₹2 per minute of talk time on Dvaarik, billed in whole minutes with no voice subscription and no minimum volume, plus ₹1,500 per 30 days if we supply the phone number. Today Dvaarik is self-serve with no setup fee and no required plan — usage is prepaid credits, voice from ₹2/min with whole-minute billing. Adding Instagram and website chat at ₹2 per conversation takes those to about ₹4,500 and ₹9,500.

Can it answer batch timing and fee questions for twenty different classes?

Yes, and that is the workload it is actually built for. Every batch is held with its style or instrument, level, age band, day, time, teacher, seat count and fee, and the agent answers from that grid rather than from a keypad menu. A parent asking whether there is a beginners' keyboard batch on weekends for a seven-year-old gets the timing, the fee and the next trial slot in one call, in the language they are speaking. A two-minute call of that kind costs ₹4. When a batch is full the agent says so and offers the next one rather than overbooking.

Will it book free trial classes and remind parents so they actually show up?

Yes. The agent books the trial seat against the batch's real capacity, sends the confirmation on WhatsApp from your own number, sends or calls a reminder the evening before, and calls the parents who did not turn up the next morning to move them into the following week. Slot-locking matters because a trial batch has a fixed seat count and a teacher blocks the hour either way. We do not publish a no-show reduction percentage, because we do not have a sourced one for Indian academies and are not going to borrow anyone else's.

Is this worth it for a small academy with eighty students?

Probably not yet, and we would rather say so. At that size you answer the phone yourself between classes, and roughly ₹3,700 a month is real money against your fee income. Our model is also worst at low volume: at 800 billed minutes the ₹1,500 number charge is more than half the bill and the all-in rate works out at ₹4.50 a minute against a ₹2 headline. Put a WhatsApp Business auto-reply on your number, put your batch grid behind your Instagram bio link, and come back when the phone rings during class hours often enough to cost you enrolments.

Can it call parents whose fees are due or whose term is about to end?

Yes, provided they are your own students' families or your own enquiries. The agent calls the parents whose instalment is due or whose term is ending, states the amount and the date from your own records, sends a payment link mid-conversation, and logs the outcome. It can also take an enrolment deposit while the parent is still on the call, and no commission is taken on what you collect. Calling hours are set by you, the agent names your academy at the start of every call, and anyone who asks not to be called again is dropped from that campaign. We will not dial a purchased or scraped list at any price.

Parents call in Telugu and Hindi and switch mid-sentence — will it handle that?

The agent handles all 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English at the ₹2/min Bharat Standard rate, along with code-mixed Hinglish, and it switches mid-sentence rather than asking anyone to press 1. That matters in an academy because an enquiry form filled in English by an older child is often followed by a call from a parent or grandparent who wants to discuss fees and timings in their own language. Some callers will still ask for a person straight away, which is why the transfer path is configured on day one and the agent never argues with someone who wants a human. Call the live demo and judge it yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Toll-Free Number Cost India vs ₹1,500/30 Days

A toll-free 1800 number in India is a paid monthly add-on, and the only toll-free figure I can trace to a vendor's own rate card is MyOperator's power-up at "Starts @ ₹500/month", read 21 Jul 2026 on a pricing page that also states all plans are billed annually with GST applicable. Most small Indian businesses do not need one, because the entire product is moving the cost of the call from the caller to you, and call cost is rarely what stops an Indian customer dialling. Today Dvaarik is self-serve with no setup fee and no required plan — usage is prepaid credits, voice from ₹2/min with whole-minute billing. Dvaarik does not supply 1800 toll-free numbers, and that is stated plainly rather than implied away.
