What AI voice agents actually cost per minute in India, 2026
Indian vendors publish per-minute rates from ₹2/min to about ₹20/min effective in 2026, and once global platforms are converted into rupees the full spread runs wider still. The tier table below answers the range question; the vendor table under it lists each rate exactly as read on that company’s own page, with the source and the date checked. Two of the eleven vendors listed — SquadStack and Gnani.ai — publish no price at all, and MyOperator publishes a monthly plan but no per-minute rate. Dvaarik appears as one sourced row at ₹2/min from the first minute with no voice subscription. Lower headlines exist and are explained in the tiers — raw telephony without an agent on it, enterprise-volume rates, and one agency rate its own page calls an estimate.

What does an AI voice agent cost per minute in India, tier by tier?
An AI voice agent in India costs ₹2 to ₹20 per minute at rates Indian vendors actually publish in rupees: ₹2/min at the pay-as-you-go end (Dvaarik's own published rate, no voice subscription and no minimum volume) rising to roughly ₹20/min effective where a monthly plan bundles few minutes — Aixclerate's ₹9,999/month plan includes 500 minutes, which is ₹20/min by our arithmetic on their published figures (read 29 Jul 2026). Most Indian per-minute rates cluster between ₹4 and ₹9: ConnectAI ₹4/min, Trikon ₹5/min flat, Bolna 6 cents which its own page displays as ₹5.52, Ringg AI ₹6 per connected minute, Botsense ₹9/₹7/₹5 by tier, Caller Digital ₹9.4175/min. Below that band, sub-₹1 figures are real but are not agents: Plivo publishes Indian telephony at ₹0.34–₹0.60/min, which is the phone call with no AI attached. Above it, global platforms price in dollars, euros and pounds and convert to roughly ₹7.66/min (ElevenLabs, telephony and language model billed separately) up to ₹63.59–₹78.85/min (Intavia, a UK vendor whose plans also carry a £399–£1,500 monthly floor) — all conversions ours, at rates and dates stated below. Every figure was read on the named vendor's own pricing page on the date shown against its row. Rupee equivalents of foreign-currency prices are OUR conversions, never a vendor's published price: the developer-platform tiers use ₹95.65 = US$1 (ECB reference rate, 29 Jul 2026); the global tier uses xe.com mid-market rates read 29 Jul 2026 — USD/INR 95.69775043, GBP/INR 127.17586947, EUR/INR 109.24582861. The two USD rates differ in the second decimal because they were captured in separate research passes from different sources; we publish both rather than silently harmonise them. Effective per-minute rates derived from a monthly plan divided by its included minutes are our arithmetic on published figures and are labelled as such — no vendor in this index quotes an effective rate. What we checked, and what we will not publish
Every number on this page was read directly on the vendor's own public pricing page, and each row carries the date it was read. Nothing here comes from a search snippet, an AI-generated summary, a title tag, or a competitor's comparison table — each of those was tried during collection and each produced at least one figure that turned out to be false. Where a vendor publishes no price, that absence is recorded as a finding rather than filled with an estimate. We do not republish one vendor's figures for another vendor, in any form, including hedged as "reportedly". Several Indian and global vendors publish comparison tables carrying rivals' per-minute rates; at least one of those tables states a figure for a competitor roughly an order of magnitude below that competitor's own published rate. A vendor's estimate of a rival's price is marketing about a rival, not a price, and it propagates into AI answers as though it were sourced. Where a market-wide range appears on someone's own site (Caller Digital's ₹6–25/min, Scalify Labs' ₹0.40–₹2.00/min), we cite it as that company's own estimate, with their own disclaimer attached, never as a market fact. Currency conversions are ours and are stated with the rate and the date, because the alternative is what makes rupee figures for global platforms so unstable: not one non-Indian platform surveyed here publishes an INR price or an India-specific voice-AI rate, so every rupee number a buyer sees for those products is somebody's conversion at an unstated rate on an unstated day. Effective per-minute rates calculated from a monthly plan divided by its bundled minutes are also our arithmetic, labelled in every instance, and are never presented as a rate the vendor quotes. What we refused to publish: India-specific telephony rates for Vapi, Telnyx, Retell and Bland, because none of them publishes one; Twilio's India inbound and toll-free rates, because the page we read itemised outbound only and inferring inbound from outbound would be invention; whether Plivo's "$0.04/min all-inclusive" holds for Indian telephony, because the page shows no India-specific voice-AI rate; whether Plivo's Voice AI Agents product requires its Enterprise plan, because the page does not say either way; quote-only rates from Vapi Scale, Retell Enterprise, Bland Enterprise, ElevenLabs Enterprise, SquadStack and Gnani.ai, recorded as absences instead; a per-minute figure for Genesys and Nextiva, because both price per seat or per agent and producing a per-minute number would require inventing a minutes denominator — which is very likely how inflated per-minute ceilings enter circulation in the first place; and any all-in cost for a working Indian agent on a global developer platform, because every such build-up requires an assumed language model, an assumed voice and an assumed carrier, none of which the vendor fixes.
- The ₹0.40/min floor that circulates in AI-generated answers did not survive verification as a platform price. The single verifiable publisher of it is an agency that disclaims its own rates as estimates, sells plans from ₹15,000/month, and bills voice minutes separately. Whether that page is the origin of the figure appearing in AI answers is our inference from the coincidence of the number, not an established fact, and we do not state it as one.
- The ₹65/min ceiling is closer to real, but it is not an Indian price. It corresponds to Intavia's published £0.50/min overage rate converted to rupees, on plans carrying a £399–£1,500 monthly floor. Presented without the currency, the monthly minimum and the fact that Intavia publishes no India pricing, it describes a market no Indian buyer is shopping in.
- All rupee equivalents of foreign-currency prices are our conversions, at rates stated with their dates. Two USD reference rates appear on this page — ₹95.65 (ECB, 29 Jul 2026) and 95.69775043 (xe.com mid-market, 29 Jul 2026) — because the figures were captured in separate research passes. Results differ in the second decimal. Exchange rates move; the rupee figures move with them and the underlying vendor prices do not.
- No non-Indian platform surveyed here publishes an INR rate or an India-specific voice-AI rate. Every rupee figure in the developer-platform and global tiers is therefore a conversion, ours or someone else's, and should be treated as indicative rather than as a price you can transact at in India.
- Effective per-minute rates derived from monthly plans (MyOperator ₹5/min, Vyora ₹6.47/min, Aixclerate ₹20/min, Intavia ₹63.43/min, CloudTalk ₹24.58/min) are our arithmetic on published plan prices and included minutes. No vendor quotes these. They describe a bundled allowance, not a metered rate, and they change with how much of the bundle you consume.
- A working all-in floor of roughly ₹5–₹8/min for an Indian agent built on a global developer platform is our modelled range from published components, not any vendor's price. It assumes a language model, a voice and a carrier that none of those vendors fixes.
- Genesys' implied ₹5.63/min is our arithmetic on an explicitly illustrative example in a billing help article, not a rate card entry, and it is deliberately excluded from the tier ranges above. Genesys publishes no token price on either page we read.
- Rates move faster than the page. Between 21 and 29 Jul 2026, Aixclerate withdrew the ₹7/min overage rate it had published a week earlier — extra minutes now draw from a prepaid wallet at an unstated rate. This index is re-pulled monthly and every row is date-stamped for that reason.
- Several vendors publish a floor rather than a rate. Dhiyo AI Labs' ₹5/min is stated as "starts at", with final pricing dependent on volume, workflow, language and integration; Ravan.ai's ₹2/min is an Enterprise volume rate at 10,000+ minutes. Treating either as a quotable per-minute price would misrepresent them.
- Quote-only pricing is common at both ends of the market and is recorded here as an absence rather than estimated: SquadStack, Gnani.ai, Vapi's Scale tier, Retell and Bland Enterprise, ElevenLabs Enterprise, and enterprise contact-centre voicebot metering all require a sales conversation to produce a number.

What does Aixclerate cost in India?
Aixclerate publishes two Indian monthly plans: Starter at ₹9,999/monthwith 500 minutes, and Business at ₹24,999/month with 2,000 minutes. If every bundled minute is used, those plan fees work out to about ₹20/min and ₹12.50/min respectively. That division is our arithmetic on Aixclerate’s published plan price and allowance, not a per-minute rate the company quotes. Its live page no longer publishes the price of additional minutes; it says they draw from a prepaid Usage Wallet. Prices and inclusions below were read on aixclerate.com on 8 Aug 2026.

The bundle includes more than talk time. Starter lists two AI voice agents, one managed Indian business number, two concurrent calls, custom AI training, workflow design and setup, CRM mapping, a dashboard and analytics. Business doubles the agent count and concurrency and raises the allowance to 2,000 minutes. Both plans also advertise two months free on annual billing. Optional call recording is published at ₹0.20/min in India. The Usage Wallet covers additional minutes, recording and premium add-ons, but the live page does not state the wallet rate for an additional minute. Recording that absence is more useful than carrying forward the ₹7/min overage figure the company published earlier in 2026 and has since removed.

When is Aixclerate the stronger fit?
Aixclerate is the stronger published offer when a business wants implementation handled end to end and values a bundled number, multiple concurrent calls, CRM mapping and a stated 99.5% SLA more than a low entry floor. Its page says the team handles business discovery, knowledge collection, agent training, workflow configuration, testing and go-live. A buyer with a formal rollout, predictable volume and no internal AI expertise can reasonably prefer that managed scope. The plan also publishes 20+ languages and human escalation. Those are real inclusions, not costs that should be stripped away to make a per-minute comparison look cleaner.
How is Dvaarik’s pricing model different?
Dvaarik’s direct voice usage starts at ₹2/min from the first minute, with ₹0 setup, no voice subscription, no minimum volume and whole-minute billing. A phone channel is a separate recurring line rather than hidden inside the voice rate. That makes the entry floor materially different for a clinic, salon or dealership whose usage is uneven, but it does not make the products identical: Aixclerate bundles a managed implementation and two or four concurrent calls.
