If you searched Knowlarity, read this before you compare rates

Knowlarity is one of India's long-established cloud telephony providers — its site copyright runs from 2009, and it has been part of Gupshup since February 2022. Its published pricing is for telephony and contact-centre infrastructure: per-agent softphone seats, contact-centre plans, toll-free plans, prepaid virtual-number plans and a missed-call number. The per-minute figures on that page — outgoing calls at 20p to 70p per 30 seconds depending on plan, or 40p per minute via click-to-call on the WebRTC unlimited-inbound plan — buy carrier minutes for calls your own staff handle. They do not buy an AI that talks to the caller. Knowlarity does sell a ChatBot/VoiceBot, and its bots page calls the model pay-as-you-go, but no rate is published; the pricing page routes you to sales. So the useful comparison is not 40p/min against ₹2/min. It is: do you want infrastructure for a team you already have, or an agent instead of the team you do not have.

  • Choose Knowlarity if you have agents on headsets and need the routing, IVR, dialer and reporting layer under them. They also offer a self-serve free trial, which we do not.
  • Choose Dvaarik if there is no one free to answer and you want the AI to handle the whole conversation — call, WhatsApp, booking, payment link.
  • Do not compare Knowlarity's telephony per-minute rates against an AI agent's per-minute rate. One is transport for a call a person answers; the other includes the conversation. Compare total monthly cost at your actual call volume, and count what happens to the calls nobody answers today.
  • Read the seat price with its terms attached. ₹1,499 is per agent per month, shown on a card headed 10 Agent, with printed terms of a minimum one-year contract and quarterly advance payment. Ask them what the actual minimum seat count is before you model it.
  • If your requirement is specifically an AI voicebot, ask Knowlarity for that quote in writing — their site publishes no figure for it as of 26 Jul 2026.

The verdict

What do the dated pages show?

Knowlarity does publish a rate card, and a detailed one. On knowlarity.com/pricing/voice, read 26 Jul 2026, the lowest monthly figure shown is ₹1,499 per agent per month — Softphone with WebRTC, Unlimited Inbound + Paid Outbound, displayed against "10 Agent", with printed terms of a minimum one-year contract and quarterly advance payment. The page does not state whether 10 agents is a minimum. Cloud Contact Center plans are ₹1,999, ₹2,999 and ₹3,499 a month; toll-free plans run ₹21,000 to ₹46,200 a year; a missed-call number is ₹5,000 a month. What Knowlarity does not publish is a price for the product closest to Dvaarik. On knowlarity.com/pricing/ai the ChatBot/VoiceBot entry reads, in full, "For pricing on ChatBot/VoiceBot please contact us." Their bots page describes the model as "Affordable pay-as-you-go. No CapEx or complicated licensing", but puts no rate against it. That gap is the honest shape of this comparison. Knowlarity is a cloud telephony company — virtual numbers, IVR, toll-free, number masking, dialers and contact-centre software that your own staff log into and operate. Its site carries a 2009 to 2026 copyright, and it has been part of Gupshup since February 2022 per its own announcement page. Dvaarik is not selling you that infrastructure. It is one AI agent that holds the conversation itself — answers the call, qualifies, books, follows up on WhatsApp, sends the payment link — billing usage from prepaid credits at ₹2/min with simple per-minute billing, no voice subscription and no minimum volume. If you have a phone team, Knowlarity is built for you. If you are the phone team, that is the problem we exist to remove.

Verdict: Choose Knowlarity if you employ people who answer phones and you need the infrastructure underneath them — IVR trees, agent softphones, call routing, dispositions, dialers, toll-free numbers, number masking, call metrics — across one site or many, from a vendor with a long operating history, a self-serve free trial, published toll-free sales and support lines, and paperwork your procurement team will recognise. Choose Dvaarik if the calls are currently landing on your own phone and nobody is free to pick up: one AI agent answers 24/7 in 22+ Indian languages, calls your ad leads back within about 60 seconds, follows up on WhatsApp and collects deposits — live the same day you finish setup, ₹2/min from the first minute, no voice subscription, no minimum volume, no lock-in. These are not competing prices for the same thing. They are two different answers to "who talks to the caller".

Pick Dvaarik when

You want the full platform

  • You do not have a phone team and do not want to hire one. Knowlarity's per-agent plans assume people on headsets; ₹1,499 per agent per month is a seat licence, and a seat needs a salary in it.
  • You want the price of the AI thing published before you talk to anyone. Ours is ₹2/min. As of 26 Jul 2026 Knowlarity's ChatBot/VoiceBot entry publishes no rate at all.
  • Your volume is small or spiky. No per-agent seat, no annual contract, no quarterly advance — top up from ₹500, credits never expire, and at zero balance things pause instead of billing you.
  • The leak is speed, not routing. Ad leads called back within about 60 seconds beats any IVR tree, because the call that converts is the one that happens before the lead has moved on.
  • You want one agent across voice, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, booking and payment links, rather than assembling voice, SMS and WhatsApp API as separate line items.
  • You want it live the same day, and you would rather add your data in a dashboard than configure a telephony platform.

Consider Knowlarity when

You need a narrower tool

  • You already have agents answering phones — this is exactly what Knowlarity is built for, and we do not build it. Inbound routing, IVR trees, agent softphones over WebRTC or MPLS, call dispositions, progressive and predictive dialers with lead-dialing ratios, agent and call-metric insights: that is a mature contact-centre stack, and a small SaaS company has no equivalent.
  • Scale and procurement fit. Knowlarity's own pricing page states it is trusted by over 6,000 organisations across 65 countries with over 300+ employees, and it has been part of Gupshup since February 2022. Multi-site and multi-country rollouts, a named account team, published toll-free sales and support numbers, and a vendor record a procurement review will accept — Dvaarik cannot match any of that today, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise.
  • You need a managed number estate. They publish toll-free plans at ₹21,000, ₹28,800 and ₹46,200 a year and prepaid virtual-number plans at ₹16,800 to ₹60,000 a year, and they sell number masking, Truecaller Verified Calling and Google Verified Calling as products — prices for those three are not shown on the visible pricing page, so ask. If numbers and caller trust are the requirement, that is their product line, not ours.
  • You want to try before you talk to anyone. Knowlarity runs a self-serve "Start Free Trial" across its site, including on the ChatBot/VoiceBot page. Dvaarik's signup is self-serve too, but there are no free credits, so their free trial is the cheaper way to evaluate quietly on your own.
  • A long operating history matters to your buyer. Knowlarity's site copyright runs 2009 to 2026, it publishes a dedicated security and compliance page, and it names customers on its own site. If you are answering to a committee that wants years of operation behind a vendor, that argument is theirs to win.
  • Very high human-answered call volume, or a consolidated telecom contract. Their 30-second calling pulse and outgoing rates down to 20p per 30 seconds on higher plans are genuinely economical for large volumes of calls that people handle, and they can put voice, promotional and transactional SMS, WhatsApp Business API, video and speech analytics under one support desk. Dvaarik is deliberately narrow by comparison.

Frequently asked

Questions about Dvaarik vs Knowlarity

Does Knowlarity publish its prices?

+
For telephony, yes — and in more detail than most Indian vendors. Read on 26 Jul 2026, knowlarity.com/pricing/voice shows Cloud Contact Center plans at ₹1,999, ₹2,999 and ₹3,499 a month, softphone seats at ₹1,499 and ₹1,999 per agent per month, toll-free plans at ₹21,000 to ₹46,200 a year, prepaid plans at ₹16,800 to ₹60,000 a year and a ₹5,000/month missed-call number. For its AI products, no. The ChatBot/VoiceBot and Text to Speech entries on knowlarity.com/pricing/ai both say to contact them, and the speech-analytics table on that page renders its headings and volume bands with no rate values in it. Quote-only pricing for an AI deployment is a normal way to sell — it just means you cannot compare before you call.

Knowlarity's outgoing calls look like 40p a minute. Why is Dvaarik ₹2/min?

+
Because those two numbers buy different things. Knowlarity's 40p/min click-to-call rate, and its 20p to 70p per 30 seconds on other plans, is telephony — the carrier leg of a call that one of your staff picks up and talks through. The cost of that conversation is the salary of the person having it. Dvaarik's ₹2/min is the conversation itself: the agent answers, understands, qualifies, books the slot and sends the follow-up, with no one on your side on the call. If you have people to answer phones, Knowlarity's per-minute rate is the better deal and we would say so. If you do not, a cheap minute nobody answers is not a saving.

Who owns Knowlarity now?

+
Knowlarity Communications Pvt Ltd still operates under its own brand and website, and its site copyright runs 2009 to 2026. Its own news page, published 2 February 2022, states that Knowlarity is now part of Gupshup following an acquisition, with quotes from Yatish Mehrotra (CEO, Knowlarity) and Beerud Sheth (co-founder and CEO, Gupshup). So it is a long-established Indian cloud telephony business now inside a larger conversational-engagement group.

Is there a minimum contract with Knowlarity?

+
It depends on the product, and you should confirm the terms for whatever you are actually buying. The terms printed under the Softphone with WebRTC plans on their pricing page as of 26 Jul 2026 state a minimum contract period of one year and payment quarterly in advance. Their toll-free and prepaid plans are quoted annually. The page does not state a minimum seat count, so ask whether the 10 agents shown on the seat cards is illustrative or required. Dvaarik has no contract term, no minimum volume and no voice subscription — you load credits, and unused credits never expire.

What does Dvaarik cost in total for a small business?

+
Setup is ₹0 — self-serve signup with no conditions. Usage runs on prepaid credits at ₹2/min voice and ₹2 per chat conversation; top-ups start at ₹500 and credits never expire. The phone line is ₹1,500 per 30 days with the number included, and the Social Plan for WhatsApp and Instagram is ₹1,500 per 30 days, both debited from credits. Managed support is optional — talk to us.

Can Dvaarik replace a Knowlarity contact centre?

+
Not honestly, if you run a real contact centre. Agent softphones, IVR design, number masking across a large number estate, predictive dialers with configurable dialing ratios, multi-site routing and the reporting your supervisors live in — that is Knowlarity's territory and it is a genuine engineering estate we do not offer. Where Dvaarik fits is the business with no contact centre at all: calls ringing on the owner's phone, enquiries from ads going cold, WhatsApp messages unanswered overnight. One agent covers those, generated from your business data and handed over working.

Which one should I shortlist if I want an AI voicebot specifically?

+
Shortlist both, and ask each for the same thing in writing: the per-minute or per-conversation rate, what is included in it, what the minimum commitment is, and how long until it is live. Dvaarik's answers are published — ₹2/min from the first minute, zero setup fee, no voice subscription, no minimum volume, no lock-in, live the same day you finish setup. Knowlarity's voicebot pricing is not published as of 26 Jul 2026, so you will need to request it; their bots page describes the model as pay-as-you-go with no CapEx, and they offer a free trial you can start without a call. Compare the two quotes on total monthly cost at your real call volume, not on headline rates.
